The Expanse season 5 episode 10 breakdown. Recap and deep dive of s05e10 "Nemesis Games" with the ending explained. Please subscribe! - http://bit.ly/PetePeppers

The season finale of season 5 of the Expanse sees the crew of the Rocinante back together, and exposes who Marco’s secret Martian collaborators were. In the final episode the crew lose a member when their long time pilot Alex Kamal (Cas Anvar) dies. He was rescuing Naomi Nagata (Dominique Tipper) with Bobbie Draper (Frankie Adams), and suffered a stroke from a high-G maneuver.

Amos Burton (Wes Chatham) and Clarissa Mao (Nadine Nicole) made it to Luna, and he’s reunited with his crew. Clarissa tried to kill Holden in season 3, so he may not be happy to have her on the ship. Amos was able to get him to agree for the time being. Amos also said goodbye to his past and his childhood friend Erich.

Camina Drummer (Cara Gee) defied her Free Navy orders to destroy the Roci in episode 10. Marco Inaros’ (Keon Alexander) crewmember Karal was aboard the Tynan with Drummer, and she was killed by one of her crew named Michio. This saw their husband Serge spaced in retaliation, and that split the Drummer faction. Oksana and Bertold left on the Mowteng while Josep, Camina, and Michio stayed on the Tynan. It doesn’t appear that there is anywhere safe for them to go in the Belt.

In season 5 finale Marco and his fleet took control of the Sol Ring Gate. With a coordinated attack that involved Sauveterre’s breakaway Martian fleet, and control of Medina station the Free Navy was able to dominate the Outer Planets. Sauveterre and the other Martian ships transited the Laconia Ring, and took the protomolecule sample with them.

On Luna, in Season 5 episode 10, Chrisjen Avasarala (Shohreh Aghdashloo) is Secretary General again, and she’s declared martial law for Earth. She tries to keep morale high at a party, but the attack on the Sol Ring interrupts. She watches with James Holden (Steven Strait) and Bobbie as the breakaway Martian fleet leaves the system. Holden tells her that Marco probably paid for the Free Navy Ships with the protomolecule sample.

Synopsis: Holden and the Roci face off against Marco's forces and Drummer, while Alex and Bobbie attempt a dangerous rescue of Naomi, and the balance of power in the Solar System shifts.

The disappearance of rich-girl-turned-political-activist Julie Mao links the lives of Ceres detective Joe Miller (Thomas Jane), accidental ship captain James Holden (Steven Strait) and U.N. politician Chrisjen Avasarala (Shohreh Aghdashloo). Amidst political tension between Earth, Mars and the Belt, they unravel the single greatest conspiracy of all time.

Season five of the series picks up as multitudes of humans leave the solar system in search of new homes and vast fortunes on the earth-like worlds beyond the alien Ring, and a heavy price for centuries of exploitation of the Belt finally comes due and a reckoning is at hand. For the crew of the Rocinante and the leaders of the Inner Planets and the Belt, the past and present converge, bringing forth personal challenges that have wide-reaching repercussions throughout the Solar System. Amos (Wes Chatham) returns to Earth to confront his past and the legacy of the life he fought to leave behind. Naomi (Dominique Tipper) reaches out to her estranged son in a desperate bid to save him from his father’s toxic influence. Bobbie (Frankie Adams) and Alex (Cas Anvar) confront the collapse of Mars as they chase a shadowy cabal with ties to terrorists and criminals. Holden (Steven Strait) wrestles with the consequences of his own past with the Protomolecule, the aliens who built it, and the mystery of what killed them. Drummer (Cara Gee), with a new crew, fights to escape who and what she used to be. And Avasarala (Shohreh Aghdashloo), refusing to be relegated to the sidelines, fights to prevent a terrorist attack unrivaled in history.
